Since we are an education-focused community, we uphold strict academic standards.

🚫 No Cheating or Plagiarism: Do not ask others to write your essays, take your exams, or complete your homework assignments for you. You may ask for guidance or feedback, but "Do my homework" requests are prohibited.

📚 No Pirated Materials: Do not share links to pirated textbooks, copyrighted exam banks, or leaked test materials.

🎓 Accurate Application Advice: When sharing experiences about school applications (GPA, offers, visa), please ensure your information is truthful. Do not spread verified rumors that could panic other students.

2. Teacher-Student Matching & Transactions

We encourage students and teachers to connect freely, but you must stay safe.

📢 Self-Promotion: Tutors and Mentors may only advertise their services in the designated "Find a Tutor" sections. Spamming ads in general discussion threads is not allowed.

💸 Transaction Safety:

FourSeas acts as a venue for connection. We do not guarantee the quality of private tutoring sessions arranged off-platform.

Dispute Policy: We are not responsible for refund disputes regarding private transactions between users. However, you may report fraudulent users to us for investigation and potential banning.

3. General Conduct

🚫 No Doxing or Privacy Invasion: Posting private information (real names, WeChat IDs, phone numbers) of others without consent is strictly prohibited.

🤬 No Hate Speech or Harassment: We do not tolerate racism, sexism, or targeted attacks. Be respectful to fellow students and teachers.

🤖 No Spam: Do not post duplicate threads or mass-tag users.

🆔 One Account Policy: You are allowed one (1) account. Creating alt accounts to manipulate reputation or circumvent bans will result in a permanent ban.

4. Legal Disclaimer & Liability Waiver

· Platform Role: FourSeas is a platform for information exchange and connection. We are not an educational institution or an employer of the tutors listed here unless explicitly stated.

· No Professional Advice: Experiences shared by users regarding visas, immigration, or admissions are anecdotal. They are not professional legal or immigration advice. Always consult official sources.

· User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. FourSeas disclaims all liability for any disputes, losses, or damages arising from your use of the matching service or forum content.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Can I post my homework for help? 

A: Yes, but with limits. You can ask, "Can someone explain this concept?" or "Where did I go wrong in this calculation?" You cannot ask, "Can someone solve this for me?" or "I will pay $50 for this essay."

Q: I found a tutor here, but they didn't show up. Can I get a refund? 

A: If you paid through the FourSeas official payment system (if applicable), please contact Support. If you paid them privately (WeChat/Zelle/PayPal), we cannot process refunds, but please report the user to us so we can ban them to protect others.

Q: Can I advertise my tutoring services? 

A: Yes! Please post your profile and service details in the "Tutor Marketplace" section. Do not spam other sections.

Q: How do I report a fake teacher or scammer? 

A: Click the "Report" button on their profile or message @Administrator with screenshots and evidence.

Q: Is my data safe? 

A: We prioritize your privacy. We do not sell your personal data. Please read our Privacy Policy for more details.
